I am the owner and lead designer of Aisling interiors. I bought my first home in my mid-twenties and completely remodeled it. That was the catalyst that started it all.  Since then, I have flipped and remodeled 7 homes. I do most of the work myself and love a good project. I have been in and around construction and design most of my life.  My first home was country blue and mauve. (Yes, that was a long time ago) Since then I have been though all the design trends. I always keep current with trends and look forward to new trends.  I started working in the design industry in 2005. I spent the last four years working for a Shaw Design center specializing in flooring.   

 

I believe you don’t have to spend a fortune to have the home of your dreams. Particularly if you are willing to do some of the work yourself. I personally tend to lean toward the Farmhouse style but love to design homes with more modern trends as well.

I have recently purchased what I hope is my last fixer upper. Follow along in the blog and I will show you what I am working on. I always have a project going!!
